TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Clarendon has scheduled a Public Hearing to be held on April 18, 2017 at the Town Hall, 16385 Church Street, Clarendon, NY at 6:00 PM.  Purpose of said hearing will be to consider amendments to the Zoning Ordinance; as follows:

Article V,  Purpose of the Business/Commercial District (BC), Section 530-2, Permitted Uses (BC)

Add new F. Business, Service (Re-number remaining section as necessary)

Article V,  Purpose of the Business/Commercial District (BC), Section 530-4, Uses allowed by Special Permit (BC)

Add new D. Storage facilities

Article V,  Purpose of the Industrial District (I), Section 550-2, Permitted Uses (I)

Add New O. Single Family Dwelling

Add New P. Two Family Dwelling

Article VII,  Supplementary Regulations Governing Special Permit Uses, Section 711, H - Motor Vehicle Repair Shop

Correction No motor vehicle repair shop shall be located within a distance of two hundred (20) (200) feet………

Article IV, Section 3, SEQR Actions - Type II Actions, c, 38

Revise Exempt or Minor Subdivisions are as        determined by…….

Anyone wishing to speak in favor of or in opposition to said amendments may do so at this hearing.  ALSO BE ADVISED that the regular monthly town board meeting will begin upon close of the public hearing.

TAKE NOTICE that the Clarendon Town Board will hold an informational meeting on May 16, 2017 at 6:00 PM at the Town Hall, 16385 Church Street, Clarendon, NY.  Purpose of the meeting will be to consider the next public water district, proposed Water District #12.  Boundaries being looked at include: Upper Holley Road from WD#10 south to the Byron Town Line; New Guinea Road from Upper Holley Road to the west 4000 feet; Brown Schoolhouse Road from WD#3 west to the Town Line; Transit Road from Brown Schoolhouse Road to the north 500 feet; Byron Holley Road (NYS Route 237) from WD#11 south to Cook Road (in Byron); Munger Road from Holley Byron Road (NYS 237) east to South Holley Road; South Holley Road from WD#7 to south 5400 feet; Boots Road from Holley Byron Road (NYS 237) to east 2800 feet; Mansfield Road  from WD#8 to west 1500 feet.

NOTICE BY COLLECTOR OF RECEIPT OF ASSESSMENT ROLL & WARRANT
Property taxes will be received in person at the Clarendon Town Clerk's Office at 16385 Church or may be mailed to PO Box 145, Clarendon, NY 14429 through April 30, 2017 during Town Clerk's regular business hours; Mon, Wed, Thurs 9AM-4PM, Tues Noon-6PM, Fri 9AM-2PM, Sat 10AM-Noon.  Please make checks payable to Clarendon Tax Collector.  Bring or send entire statement when making payment as a portion will be used for your receipt.  Please enclose a self addressed, stamped envelope for return receipt by mail.  Fees charged are as follows:  January 0%; February 1%; March 2%; April 3%.  BE ADVISED that for the year 2017 the Clarendon Town Board has scheduled its Regular Monthly Meetings to be held on the third Tuesday of each month - at 7:00PM at the Town Hall, 16385 Church St., Clarendon Excepting for August which will be held at the Historical Society Museum Barn, 16426 Fourth Section Road, Clarendon.  BE ADVISED that a Special Meeting will be held on November 6, 2016 at the Town Hall to authorize reassessed water and mowing charges for the 2018 tax bills.  ALSO BE ADVISED that the Town's Official Newspaper has been designated as Batavia Daily News (daily publication) and additional publication of most Legal Notices to be put in Suburban News.
